Imagine this but as it's a film.
The guy plays the opening chords to Never Going Back Again. He’s been doing it for the past 6 1/2 minutes. D D A7 D. D D A7 D. Occasionally making eye contact with the girl, then looking out the window, then down at the same three chords he plays on a continuous loop. All whilst nodding his head. His mouth isn’t holding a toothpick, roll up, or pencil but the lips hang a fraction open as if they wanted to be holding something in there. He strums. He strums. 9 minutes, 9 minutes 57 seconds. The girl gets up from the chair she is sitting on, marches over to the guy, grabs the neck of the guitar to smash the instrument into the wall, then the fireplace, then the floor, the floor, the floor again, the floor again again again again again again and again. Silence. They look at each other without saying a word. The screen goes blank. FIN reads in white italics. That means the film has finished in French. You get up from your seat. You leave the screen. You walk out of the theatre.
Fin (actually).
